Accreditations and Expertise
Kerstin is coach trained with CTI – Coaches Training Institute, London, and a member of the Association of Coaching (MAC).
She has a degree from Stockholm University in Japanese and Social Anthropology and from the Complutense University, Madrid in Spanish and Spanish Culture. She specialised in Foreign Trade and Economics at the Frans Schartau Institute, Stockholm.
Business Experience
Kerstin has worked for more than a decade with senior level managers and executives. In her work with a number of trade associations within the Swedish Engineering Industries - an employers' association - she managed several trade associations, working extensively with CEO's, owners and/or directors of the member companies. Most of these trade associations were affiliated with a European or International body and Kerstin managed the International Federation of Robotics for more than six years in a role as "shadow" Secretary General.
Her experience as General Manager for The Swedish Machine Tool Manufacturers' Association focused on international co-operation mainly within Europe (CECIMO) and the US.
As Director of Italian Operations, she represented Norwegian company QuestBack in Italy and Switzerland working with prestigious clients, Bocconi University, DeAgostini, L’Oréal Italy and Geox. She co-owned and managed an e-commerce business for several years.
Kerstin is a true European and has lived in five European countries (Italy, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK) and is fluent in Swedish and English, with very good Spanish, Italian, Norwegian plus good knowledge of Danish and some French. With this international background, she has extensive experience from cross-cultural aspects and challenges of both the professional and personal panorama. Kerstin is UK based but will be mostly active in Sweden, also intending to explore opportunities with Swedish companies in the UK as well as capitalising on her experience in Milan.
