Hans is LeaderShape’s Partner in Germany and a Faculty Member of LeaderShape Global. He is also an accredited personality trainer and change manager and founder of LeaderShape’s German Business Partner, The Berlin Factory.
After graduating from Osnabrück University with an honours degree in Telecommunication Engineering Hans, started his career as a Test Engineer at NIXDORF Computers Paderborn.
Throughout his first seven years at NIXDORF he progressed through the company and took on new management roles with greater responsibility including: Head of Customizing Center; Senior Manager of Competence Center Lifecycle Solutions and Head of Managed IT Services Germany. Most recently, he was responsible for 720 employees and a turnover of EUR 300 million. During this time he was always known as an authentic leader with a magnetic effect for good employees and managers.
Hans has always wondered how he can create even better teams without overtaxing them and how they can make better use of their own potential.
With this vision Hans founded the Berlin Factory in 2013. The focus of the Berlin Factory is on the development of executives in an authentic leadership style. To support his professional background, Hans has been accredited as a member of the AFNB (Academy for Neuroscience Education Management), which develops concepts for trainers, consultants and coaches on a neuroscience basis.

Business Experience
Hans has gained his vast leadership experience from working in IT Service Companies including Siemens and Fujitsu. He has a proven background in Managed Services projects, from offer phase to implementation and also handover to operation. Working on change projects has given him the expertise in building new optimised organisations, successful teams and implementing new processes.
His positions have included:
1996 - Senior Project Manager of large managed Workplace rollout projects
2005 - Senior Manager of Competence Center Lifecycle Solutions at Fujitsu/Siemens (360 employees)
2009 - Head of IT Services Germany Fujitsu (720 employees) working in consulting, sales support and project management
