Coach/mentoring has a proven track record. LeaderShape provides this service most commonly when you or others in your organisation wish to benefit from individual development, challenge and support. Typical circumstances are when you may be preparing for higher office or have taken on a new and demanding role. Equally, we will often coach those who are already in the most senior roles and who recognize the benefits that off-line support can bring, providing a safe space to voice concerns and work through challenges; for example when leading through times of major change. Executive Coaching has been demonstrated to be over 90% effective in developing senior executives. A recent CIPD report (‘Making the case for Coaching’) provides data showing a return on investment of between 221% and 570% - pretty impressive.
LeaderShape's coach-mentors are able to provide executive and leadership coaching, moving between pure non-directive coaching and mentoring to support your agenda and needs. We call this “coach / mentoring” because although you will develop your own solutions there are times when the input of an idea or new perspective based on the knowledge or experience of the coach can create important insights. As experienced Senior Leaders, we can do that.
Effective coaching and mentoring depends on the relationship, chemistry and contracting between you and your coach.. We work closely with you to ensure that the whole end to end coaching process and measurement where appropriate, are as robust as possible. We use a Kirkpatrick style approach to track transformational shift during the programme and where possible capture quantifiable results.
